The Exiles of Equilibrium
Refusing to kneel, the Seishin crossed the seas to raise a new home from nothing. They named it Shinryoku, the new green, a rebirth for a people the Tian Empire could not keep. They prize harmony above all, and what they cannot say aloud, they pour into their craft. Calm on the surface, yet unbroken underneath.
The Kindlers of the Common Flame
Two peoples forged into one, the Kerinya of Xeval prize the sword and the well-made argument in equal measure. Nobles and clergy share power, and neither has ever quite let go. Their faith holds no gods, only fire, and the knowledge it keeps alive through art and record. Nothing is wasted, and nothing is ever settled.

One of the oldest peoples on the continent, the Khánid have been shaped by millennia of war. Six clans, each ruled by its own king, each with old grudges simmering and a shared vow to reclaim the lands they lost. Proud, bitter, and bound together by the thing they all want back.
The Kin of Many Shores
Survivors of a lost merchant city, the Sarnevalians drifted for generations aboard the Ark Nevalion before settling their archipelago. Now a great maritime power devoted to the Tidemother Saranae, they honor her through shared customs and obligation, not blood. A people made of many peoples.
The Scattered and the Scarred
Descended from Cinderfall War refugees, the Dustwalkers were swept by a rift into Nimoria’s desert, where a lone caravan has grown into the settlement of Dustwater. They farm, mine, and sell their blades beside oases whose tainted waters mark their kin with strange gifts. To them, trust is worth more than coin.

Dwarves
Stone-born and stubborn as the mountains.
Delvers and smiths who measure a life by what they leave behind. Slow to trust and slower to forget, they never lack a grudge to settle or a debt to honor.
Halflings
Small folk with long memories and fuller tables.
Hearth-keepers and wanderers in equal measure, the Floren go where the road and the harvest lead. Small in stature, they are rarely underestimated twice.
Orcs
Forged in hardship, loyal to the last ember.
Raised on hard ground and harder winters, the Héroska hold that strength is a debt owed to one's kin. Their oaths are few, and they are never broken.
Humans
Brief lives, boundless ambition.
Quick to rise and quicker to fall, the Kalmet crowd every corner of Yoren with ambition. What they lack in years they make up for in restless numbers.
Mushroom / Plantfolk
Rooted, patient, and never quite alone.
Born of loam and spore, the Vistora grow slowly and think in seasons. They remember the land as it was, and mourn what it has become.
Elves
Long-lived keepers of song and sorrow.
Long-lived and long-memoried, the Eituhel carry the grief of ages in their songs. Time moves differently for them, and so does regret.
Goblins
Sharp eyes, sharper wits, nothing wasted.
Small, sharp and endlessly resourceful, the Claduhan waste nothing and forget less. Underestimate them, and they will gladly take advantage.
Tieflings
Marked by a bargain they never made.
Marked by a pact struck long before their birth, the Istania are judged by their blood before their deeds. Many spend their lives proving the verdict wrong.
Beastfolk
Wild blood, wilder loyalties.
Part wild, part kin, the Therianids carry the instincts of the beasts they descend from. Their loyalties run deep, and their tempers run deeper.
Hybrids
Between many worlds, yet claimed by neither.
Born between peoples, the Halfbloods belong fully to none and partly to all. Theirs is the hardest road, and often the most remarkable.
